The Client

Founded in 2006, this leading educational establishment is one of the largest and highest-performing free, public charter school networks in New York City. Admission is open to all New York State children, including those with special needs and English language learners. Students are admitted by a random lottery held each April. The school operates more than 40 schools serving 17,000 students in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx.

The Challenge

The school needed to implement a state-of-the-art unified security system at their new Hudson Yards school located at 500 West 41^st St in Manhattan. The security system needed to utilize technologies that would enable simple and efficient management of their physical security across seven floors of classrooms and administration offices.

The Solutions

TRITECH Security Systems was awarded the contract to provide a unified security system for the West Side offices in New York City. Partnering with S2, Axis, DMP and Aiphone, TRITECH Security Systems deployed an enterprise level Video Surveillance, Access Control and Visitor Management system. The completed system utilizes biometrics to aid with access control authentication and verification.

The Outcome

The school enjoys the security and peace of mind that the TRITECH systems provide which are easy to manage and update as the school population changes.
