The Solutions
We optimized all rooms for user ease and achieved video conferencing through both traditionally integrated video conference technology built into room racks, as well as soft codec conferences achieved from in-room computers via Cisoo WebEx. Several specialty spaces include a 30-seat executive boardroom with audio/video technology and control integrated into a custom boardroom table, a divisible multi-purpose room, and a large multi-purpose room.
“We spent a great deal of time working closely with our development and design partners to ensure that our office space is optimally designed to not only be much more efficient, but to enhance collaboration, transparency, and client service. We will accommodate more attorneys and staff in less space and have incorporated leading-edge technology to work smarter,” according to Jennifer J. Bruton, the Administrative Partner of Venable’s Washington, DC office.
The Outcome
On the concourse level of the building is a technology-rich Moot Courtroom for trial prep. One of the most unique features to support the lawyers in their trial preparations is known as the Brilliance Bar. Modeled after Apple’s Genius Bar, this station allows the firm’s lawyers to connect their laptop to a large display for a collaborative work session to make any needed adjustments. The firm is now able to host more events, both in person and virtually via state-of-the-art webcasts and video conferences for clients and friends of the firm. The Civiletti Conference Center can accommodate more than 150 people and is outfitted with the latest technology and, offering attendees a high-end, high-tech meeting experience.
