Washington, DC – Venable LLP, one of Washington’s premier firms, has announced that it will move its Washington, DC headquarters offices to a newly constructed office building at 600 Massachusetts Avenue, NW, with move-in to occur during the first quarter of 2017. “We are very excited about this move. This new location will keep us right in the heart of DC’s most vibrant area, easily accessible to our clients and professionals,” said Brian Schwalb, the firms Vice Chairman, who helped negotiate the lease. The firm will occupy approximately 245,000 square feet, comprising five full floors in the newly constructed building, and will have additional space on two other adjoining floors, as well as concourse space and a ground level reception area. Venable’s Washington DC office currently has 400 lawyers and staff. “Our new space will allow us to continue to grow,” noted Schwalb. Venable LLP has awarded TRITECH Communications, Inc. (“TRITECH”) a $4.8 million contract to provide leading edge audio visual systems throughout the space including offices, conference rooms, multi-purpose rooms, presentation spaces and a café. These spaces will utilize UC technology that will provide the Venable team with the ability to communicate internally and with clients both locally and via mobile applications. In addition, TRITECH deployed leading edge 8K display technologies, most notable are several large LED Video walls.
